Job description
Are you the person who gets satisfaction from clearing the inbox, solving the query, completing the paperwork and knowing everything has actually been finished?
We are looking for a bright, organised and resourceful HR Operations Administrator to join a busy HR team.
This role is all about keeping things moving.
A significant part of your day will involve managing the HR mailbox, responding to straightforward employee queries, finding information, signposting people to the right place and making sure requests do not disappear into the system.
What will you be doing?
Your responsibilities will include:
The organisation uses Unit 4 ERPx, so experience of Unit 4 would be a real bonus, although it is certainly not essential.
The person we are looking for
You do not need to know everything.
What matters is what you do when you do not know the answer.
Do you sit and wait for someone to tell you, or do you look at the policy, check the system, find the right person, ask the question and get the issue resolved?
We want the latter.
You will need:
Most importantly, you will be someone who finishes things.
If you say you will get something done, you get it done. If there is a problem, you raise it. If you do not know something, you find out.
Who could this suit?
Perhaps you are an experienced HR Administrator or HR Coordinator who genuinely enjoys operational HR and is not chasing the next management title.
Alternatively, you may be earlier in your HR career but exceptionally capable, quick to learn and confident working independently.
Either could work.
What matters most is that you are proactive, reliable, responsive and comfortable working in a busy environment where you will need to use your own initiative.
