Job description
German Speaking Commercial Collector
Location: Maidstone
Salary: £28,000 basic £45,000 OTE
Hours: 9am-5pm (with discretionary flexibility)
Job Type: Full-time, Office Based
Join a dynamic team as a German Speaking Commercial Collector. This role is crucial for maximising cash collections through both inbound and proactive outbound calls. Fluency in GERMAN is essential to effectively manage international and domestic debts.
Day-to-day of the role:
Negotiate early repayment of international and domestic debts.
Update debtor management systems accurately.
Recommend next steps to clients after failed collection attempts.
Escalate disputes to Client Services swiftly.
Maintain accurate records and workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven background in commercial credit control or B2 B collections, or sales/customer service experience with a desire to move into collections.
Confidence on the phone and working towards financial targets.
Fluency in German - essential for the role.
Effective communication skills.
Strong influencing and negotiating skills.
Ability to build rapport and focus on customer needs.
Team player who is articulate, literate, numerate, and possesses excellent keyboard skills.
