Job description

As a Finance Assistant in the healthcare industry, based in Chester, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the organisation. From managing invoices to assisting with reconciliations, your work will help ensure the smooth running of the accounting and finance department.

Description

Process invoices, payments, and expense claims accurately and efficiently.
Assist with bank reconciliations and maintaining financial records.
Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
Maintain the accuracy of accounting ledgers and resolve discrepancies.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely financial data collection.
Provide administrative support to the accounting and finance team.
Respond to queries related to financial transactions and records.
Contribute to the implementation of process improvements within the finance function.

Profile

A successful Finance Assistant should have:

Previous experience in a finance or accounting role.
Familiarity with financial systems and software.
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools.

Job Offer

Competitive salary ranging from £26,200 to £30,800, dependent on the level of experience.
