Administration Officer
•Must commit to working every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8.30-5.00pm
•Part-time (18 hours per week)
•Salary: £14.50 per hour Temp-Perm
•Location: Head office with travel to other sites
We are seeking an Administration Officer to provide comprehensive administrative support across various departments including finance, HR, and general office management. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our organisation. The successful candidate will handle sensitive information and support our financial processes, HR functions, and training activities.
Day-to-day of the role:
•Finance and Payroll:
•Manage payroll administration using the Sage Payroll system.
•Support financial planning, budget monitoring, and report on financial performance.
•Maintain and process banking transactions and systems.
•Ensure financial records are kept accurate and up-to-date.
•Human Resources:
•Support general HR functions, including document preparation and recruitment activities.
•Maintain employee records using Sage Personnel, ensuring all data is current and confidential.
•Attend HR meetings, take minutes, and distribute records as required.
•Training and Development:
•Manage training calendars, bookings, updates, and attendance records.
•Monitor mandatory training requirements and ensure compliance.
•Facilities and Office Administration:
•Assist with the maintenance and management of company premises.
•Perform a wide range of general office administration duties.
•Support managers and staff with administrative needs.
•Travel to other business locations as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
•Upbeat and outgoing personality with a keen attention to detail.
•Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence.
•Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
•Well-organised with a systematic approach to tasks.
•Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) and basic knowledge of Sage.
•Experience in businesses handling physical goods.
•Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
