£17 per hour PAYE

We are recruiting a Technical Administrator to join a Calibration and Maintenance team within a major engineering and manufacturing environment.
Working within a small control team, you will manage the parts and spares used to maintain bespoke test systems and manufacturing facilities. This will include controlling stock through SAP, creating material masters, assembling service kits and helping improve the way critical spares are managed.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage engineering spares, including commercial parts, electronic components, connector savers and service kits
Create and maintain material master records within SAP
Produce calibration and maintenance service kits and return unused items to stock
Work with engineers to establish appropriate minimum and maximum stock levels
Organise existing stock and conduct regular stocktakes
Order replacement parts and new stock
Use Jira to track requests and provide progress updates
Support the management and deployment of critical spares
Coordinate calibration requirements to minimise disruption to production
Produce technical reports relating to spares and stock management
Develop SAP guidance and provide training for relevant control-team activities
Help introduce improved working practices for managing spares within SAP
Required Skills & Experience:
Previous experience managing spares, parts, materials or engineering stock
Working knowledge of SAP within a stock, materials or inventory environment
Experience creating or maintaining material masters
Understanding of minimum and maximum stock levels
Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage several tasks and priorities concurrently
Confidence working with engineers and other technical stakeholders
Calibration or maintenance experience would be beneficial but is not essential
Applicants will need to complete BPSS screening and be eligible to obtain Security Clearance.
