HR Administrator

Northampton

£30k per annum

Monday-Friday 08:30-17:30

ENB are supporting a client in Northampton who are looking for a HR Administrator to join their HR team on a full time, permanent basis. Within this role, you will provide HR administration support to the wider HR team, ensuring employee records, HR processes, and people related documentation are maintained to a high standard while delivering an excellent service to managers and employees across the business.

Day to day you will:

Support with administrative duties across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employment changes and leavers.
Maintain employee records and HR systems, ensuring all information is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with GDPR requirements.
Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, amendments, and other HR documentation in a timely manner.
Coordinate the onboarding process for new starters, ensuring all required documentation and right-to-work checks are completed.
Support the payroll process by collating and submitting employee data, including starters, leavers, and contractual changes.
Manage HR inbox enquiries, responding to routine queries and escalating where appropriate.
Monitor and maintain absence records, annual leave records, and other employee data.
Assist with the administration of learning and development activities, maintaining training records and booking courses where required.

What experience will you need?

Prior experience in an HR Administration or HR Assistant
A CIPD Level 3 qualification (or currently working towards) would be advantageous.
Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Experience maintaining confidential employee information and handling sensitive data appropriately.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships at all levels.
The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively in a busy environment.
A proactive and flexible approach, with a willingness to support the wider HR team.
An understanding of HR processes and employment legislation would be beneficial.
