Job Title: Receptionist
Location: Milton Keynes (Head office)
Working hours: Monday and Tuesday (Part time) 7.30am to 4.30pm
The first and last person our colleagues, customers and visitors speak to at our HQ - We are seeking a Part time, permanent Receptionist to join our front of house team at Scania GB.
You will join a friendly, professional team of receptionists, responsible for creating a positive and lasting impression through excellent communication, organisation and customer service.
Responsibilities include:
•Welcome and greet visitors, clients and contractors in a professional manner
•Manage incoming calls - answering, screening and directing to the appropriate person or department
•Oversee visitor administration, including sign-in/out procedures, passes and compliance with health & safety requirements
•Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages and courier arrangements
•Provide general administrative support, including data entry, filing and photocopying
•Maintain a tidy, presentable and well-stocked reception area
•Support basic diary and appointment management as required
•Uphold health & safety and fire procedures, acting as first point of contact in an emergency
About you:
•Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently across all levels of stakeholders
•A genuine commitment to delivering excellent customer service
•Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
•High attention to detail and accuracy
•Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal awareness
•Proven experience answering telephones in a professional environment
