SEO, Content & Automations Manager
Location: London (Hybrid, 3 days in office) Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 + Benefits
About the Role
We are recruiting for an SEO, Content & Automations Manager to take ownership of SEO performance, content production and workflow automation across a growing digital business.
This is a hands-on role combining traditional SEO expertise with emerging AI search optimisation and automation. You'll play a key role in improving organic visibility, enhancing content performance and developing automated workflows that increase efficiency across marketing operations.
Key Responsibilities
•Manage day-to-day SEO strategy and execution
•Produce, edit and optimise content for search performance
•Develop strategies for AI-driven search platforms and answer engines
•Monitor and improve content visibility across AI-powered discovery channels
•Optimise structured data, content formats and technical SEO signals
•Stay ahead of industry developments in AI and search behaviour
•Design, build and maintain workflow automations using tools such as n 8n, Zapier or similar
•Identify manual processes and create scalable automation solutions
•Use SEO tools to analyse performance, identify opportunities and manage technical fixes
•Support wider technical SEO initiatives and ongoing website optimisation
About YouEssential Skills & Experience
•2+ years' experience in SEO, Content Marketing or Digital Marketing
•Strong understanding of SEO and content best practices
•Experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Screaming Frog
•Experience building workflow automations using tools such as n 8n, Zapier or Make
•Strong interest in AI search, Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO)
•Highly organised with excellent project management skills
•Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
•Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
•Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills
Desirable
•Experience with Python or JavaScript
•Affiliate marketing experience
•German and/or French language skills
