Client Bookkeeper - Accountancy Practice

A growing and forward-thinking accountancy practice based in Baildon is seeking an experienced Client Bookkeeper to join its busy and supportive team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a bookkeeping professional looking to work within a modern practice environment, gaining exposure to a varied client portfolio across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping for a range of clients including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
Preparation of management accounts and financial reports
VAT return preparation and submission
Use of cloud and desktop accounting software including Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks
Assisting senior accountants with client work
Liaising directly with clients as required
Payroll experience would be highly advantageous
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Previous bookkeeping experience within an accountancy practice environment preferred
Industry experience will also be considered where relevant
Experience using at least one accounting software package such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible and hands-on approach
Excellent communication and time management skills
Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Training can be provided on software packages where needed.
