Business Development Executive

Based in NW London (office based)

Up to £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

Tony Alan Recruitment currently has an exciting job opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join a rapidly growing business in the NW London area on a permanent basis.

This is UK-based financial services company that provides business and property finance solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). They focus on helping businesses access the capital they need to grow, invest, manage cash flow, or fund specific projects.

In this role, you will be helping to grow the broker network while delivering an outstanding, service-focused experience. You'll build strong relationships with brokers, identify new business opportunities, and support them throughout the entire application journey.

Your duties will include:

Generate new business through proactive, service-led engagement
Fielding inbound calls and making outbound calls to active brokers, providing timely support and guidance
Take brokers throughout the full application lifecycle, from submission through to funding
Package and review funding applications to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance
Own and continuously develop the broker onboarding process
Identify opportunities to improve broker experience
Own and actively manage your pipeline in Salesforce, ensuring accurate and timely updates
Coordinate with internal teams (Credit, Operations, Fulfilment) to progress applications and resolve queries

Key requirements:

Good communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Able to prioritise and organise
Ability to work as part of a team
Computer literate, good keyboard skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
Knowledge of Salesforce advantageous
