About the opportunity

Via is supporting an established fashion and apparel business to recruit a Sales Administrator to join its London team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is organised, detail-focused and interested in building a career within the fashion industry.

You'll support Account Managers and the wider Sales team with everything from processing customer orders and preparing sales documents to tracking deliveries and communicating with internal teams.

Previous fashion industry experience isn't essential. We're interested in candidates with strong administration and communication skills, as well as graduates from fashion, textiles, buying, merchandising or related courses looking for their first commercial role.

What you'll be doing

Provide day-to-day administrative support to Account Managers and the Sales team
Process and manage customer orders accurately
Prepare order confirmations, costing sheets and other sales documents
Track orders through the process and help ensure deadlines are met
Liaise with design, technical and other internal teams
Keep customers and colleagues updated on order progress
Follow up on approvals, product fit comments and costings
Maintain accurate customer and order information
Support Account Managers with information needed for customer meetings and requests
Conduct basic market, customer and competitor research
Help coordinate multiple orders and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Use Excel and internal systems to maintain accurate records

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and has a genuine interest in fashion and products.

You'll ideally have:

Some experience in administration, sales support, customer service, retail, merchandising or another fast-paced environment
Strong organisation and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Confidence working with different teams and managing multiple priorities
Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
A proactive approach and confidence using your own initiative
The ability to work accurately while managing a busy workload
A genuine interest in fashion, clothing or consumer products
A good eye for product and detail

Previous office or fashion industry experience isn't essential. Candidates at the beginning of their careers are encouraged to apply.

A degree or qualification in Fashion, Fashion Business, Textiles, Buying & Merchandising, Fashion Management or a related subject would be particularly relevant, but isn't required.

Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software would be useful but isn't essential.

Why apply?

£26,000-£27,000 salary
Opportunity to start or develop your career within the fashion industry
Work closely with Sales, Account Management, Design and Technical teams
Gain hands-on experience across customer accounts and the product lifecycle
Early finish on Fridays
20 days' annual leave plus bank holidays
