Finance & Accounts Assistant

Location: Liverpool Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Working Pattern: Hybrid

Are you an experienced Finance Assistant looking for an opportunity to join a growing and dynamic business?

We're recruiting for a Finance & Accounts Assistant to join an established business within the entertainment sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a friendly and sociable team with a positive working culture, whilst supporting a busy finance function in a growing organisation.

Working within a modern finance environment, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of responsibilities, using Xero and supporting key financial processes across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Processing daily banking transactions and bank reconciliations
Raising sales invoices and maintaining accurate records
Processing purchase invoices
Assisting with internal budget tracking and reporting
Supporting the preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
Assisting with month-end finance processes
Maintaining accurate financial records and resolving finance queries

What We're Looking For

We're keen to speak with candidates who have experience in:

Finance Assistant
Accounts Assistant
Bookkeeping
Sales Ledger
Purchase Ledger

You will ideally have:

Previous experience within a finance or accounts-based role
Experience using Xero or a similar accounting system
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Good Excel and general IT skills
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills
A proactive and enthusiastic approach to work
A genuine interest in the entertainment, media or creative sectors would be advantageous
