The Role

The Event Speaker Liaison Coordinator works across the operations team, acting as the key point of contact between show directors, marketing, sales, operations, suppliers and speakers to ensure every conference runs without a hitch.

Manage speaker agreements, fees, accommodation and expenses within budget
Liaise with designers to coordinate and edit speaker promotional materials
Collect and publish speaker biographies, session descriptions and photos to deadline
Keep the online programme up to date via the content management system
Brief AV teams, conference chairs and speakers accurately ahead of each event
Receive and process speaker slide decks to correct specifications and deadlines
Oversee onsite speaker coordination, AV liaison and speaker lounge management

The Candidate

The right person for this Event Speaker Liaison Coordinator role keeps multiple moving parts in order without losing their cool, communicates clearly at every level and takes real pride in the detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills, exceptional organisational ability and a track record of managing competing priorities under pressure are what this role is built around.

A background in event operations or speaker coordination is beneficial but not essential. Candidates from conference management or project coordination are equally welcome as an Event Speaker Liaison Coordinator, provided the organisational rigour and communication skills are there.
